Meet Your Second Grade Teachers
Kelsey Fowler - Mrs. Fowler graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This past school year was her first year teaching. We are happy she will be back with Grand Saline ISD this coming year.
Rebecca Mattis - Mrs. Mattis graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Mrs. Mattis has taught all grade levels from Pre-K through 3rd but loves 2nd the most. She has 20 years of experience with the last 4 being in Grand Saline.
Elizabeth Rogers - Ms. Rogers graduated from The University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She has taught Pre-K through 6th grade. Ms. Rogers has been in education for 28 years; 10 years home schooling, 10 years in private school and 8 years in public school. Her last 4 years in Grand Saline.
Patricia Sherman - Ms. Sherman graduated from Tyler Junior College with an Associate's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and then a Bachelor's degree in English from The University of Texas at Tyler. She has been teaching for 14 years. She taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for 5 years and has taught second grade for the last 9 years. Thirteen of her 14 years have been with Grand Saline ISD.
Bryanna Wilson - Mrs. Wilson graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Mrs. Wilson has two years experience in first grade at Grand Saline Elementary. Before achieving her teaching certification, Mrs. Wilson was a substitute teacher on all the Grand Saline campuses.
